MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A scary scene last month outside a popular Myrtle Beach bar led to the arrest of two men.

Myrtle Beach police were called around 2 a.m. on April 22 to Ole Shillelagh Sports & Raw Bar off South Kings Highway. Officers were told a man pointed a gun at customers outside of the bar.

At the scene, they learned two men from the incident had driven away and headed toward Sixth Avenue South from Yaupon Drive.

An officer went to stop the truck the two men were in, and the suspects tried to run away, according to a police report. Police told the suspects to get back in the vehicle, and that’s when Austin Cumbie, 26, was detained.
