1 dead, 1 hurt in Horry County crash involving motorcycle

CONWAY, S.C. (WMBF) - One person is dead and another is hurt after a Wednesday morning crash near Conway.
It happened at 8:25 a.m. on Highway 544 near Tiffany Lane.
A 2023 Harley-Davidson motorcycle heading west on the highway and a 2016 Subaru Forester going south on Tiffany Lane collided, according to Lance Cpl. Lena Butler with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
A WMBF News viewer sent several photos from the scene showing troopers as well as a heavily-damaged motorcycle.
The two people on the bike were taken to the hospital, where the passenger died, Butler said.
The driver and passenger of the Subaru were not hurt.
The name of the passenger has not yet been released.
