‘Seniors Last Swing’ returns to Pelicans Ballpark on May 22

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - Local high school seniors will have one last chance to shine on the diamond later this month.

The Myrtle Beach Pelicans will host the annual “Seniors Last Swing” on May 22 at Pelicans Ballpark and is presented by WMBF News.

According to the Pelicans, this year’s event will feature 53 local student-athletes from both softball and baseball. The softball game will be played at 5:05 p.m. with ceremonies beginning at 4:50 p.m. Gates for the event open at 4 p.m.

The baseball pre-game ceremony and game will kick off after the softball game, with around 30 minutes between the end of the softball game and the first pitch of the baseball game.

Tickets for the game are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under. Tickets will also include a special offer to save on an upcoming Pelicans home game. One ticket is also good for both Seniors Last Swing games.
