Coroner’s office IDs 20-year-old killed in Marion drive-by shooting

MARION, S.C. (WMBF) - The Marion County Coroner’s Office released the name of the man who died in a Thursday night shooting.
Kevin Jermaine Legette ll, 20, was killed in the shooting, according to Marion County Deputy Coroner Jim Grey.
Legette and another person were shot in the areas of the 400 block of McMillan Street and the 1100 block of Wallace Circle.

The other victim was airlifted to the hospital.
Marion Police Chief Tony Flowers said there is no update in the case, and the shooting is still under investigation.
