Pee Dee man accused of ‘inappropriately touching’ 13-year-old for months

MARION COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) - A Darlington man faces criminal sexual conduct charges after allegedly touching a minor inappropriately for months.
The Marion County Sheriff’s Office said 22-year-old Asa Douglas Singletary was arrested on May 9.
Singletary is accused of inappropriately touching a 13-year-old in Marion County from January to March 2024.

He is charged with third-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor.
Singletary was released from the Marion County Detention Center on a $20,000 bond.
