The Myrtle Beach Classic recognizes Blue Star Mothers of Coastal Carolina as one of their charities for the inaugural event

MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) -Nine local social service charities have been selected to receive a grant from revenue generated by the inaugural Myrtle Beach Classic.

Blue Star Mothers of Coastal Carolina is a South Carolina chapter of Blue Star Mothers of America, Inc.

It is a Non profit organization that provides support for the areas Mothers, Grandmothers, Step Mothers and adoptive Mothers who have a child serving in the US Military or who was honorably discharged.

BSMCC was chartered in Oct. of 2008.

They support each other during deployments and in times of need.

They also support our deployed and stateside troops, our area Veteran’s and Veterans Organizations, VA facilities and promote patriotism.
