Person hurt in Horry County crash, officials say

LITTLE RIVER, S.C. (WMBF) - One person was hurt after a crash in Horry County on Friday.
Horry County Fire Rescue said crews responded to the wreck in the area of Highway 17 and Coquina Harbour Drive in Little River just after 5 p.m.
The agency added the wreck involved two vehicles and required “extrication operations.”
Officials said the person hurt was taken to a hospital, but no further details were provided on their condition.
As of around 5:50 p.m., drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
