Person hurt in Horry County crash

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - One person was hurt after a crash in Horry County on Wednesday.
Horry County Fire Rescue said crews responded to a wreck involving two vehicles in the area of Highway 707 and Holmestown Road in Burgess. The agency said it was dispatched just before 2 p.m.
HCFR added the person injured was taken to a hospital, but no further details were provided on their condition.
As of around 2:45 p.m., drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating. Officers from the Horry County Police Department were also at the scene.
