4 hurt in Loris-area crash, officials say

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) - Four people were hurt after a crash in the Loris area on Thursday.
Horry County Fire Rescue said crews responded to a two-vehicle wreck just before 5 p.m. in the area of Daisy Road and Booth Road.
The agency added the crash involved confinement and that “extrication operations were required.”
As of 5:45 p.m., HCFR said lanes of traffic were blocked. Drivers are being asked to avoid the area.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating. The Horry County Police Department was also at the scene.
