S.C. native among final four qualifiers for Myrtle Beach Classic
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WMBF) - A South Carolina native is among the final four golfers to qualify for this weekend’s Myrtle Beach Classic.

An open qualifying event was held Monday at TPC Myrtle Beach, with the top four finishers earning a spot in the PGA Tour event.
Brandon Berry, of Great Falls, Virginia, won the event with a nine-under 63. Brian Davis, of Winter Garden, Florida and Braden Thornberry, of Olive Branch, Mississippi, both tied for second with six-under 66′s.
The final qualifier was William McGirt, of Bluffton, who earned a spot with a five-under 67 and won a playoff to break a fourth-place tie.
Tournament action for the Myrtle Beach Classic kicks off Thursday at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club.
