FIRST ALERT: Big Wednesday warm up with a stray shower chance
MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Much milder weather will return to the area on Wednesday along with a slight chance of a stray shower late in the day. Tranquil weather will continue through the weekend,
TONIGHT
Mostly clear skies will linger across the area overnight, but temperatures will not be nearly as chilly as last night. Overnight temperatures will drop to near 50 inland and into the lower to middle 50s near the beaches.
WEDNESDAY
Much warmer weather will arrive in the Carolinas on Wednesday. Despite a cool start, afternoon temperatures will climb into the upper 70s with plenty of sunshine through most of the day.
By tomorrow evening, a weak cold front will move into the area. The atmosphere will remain fairly dry, so no significant rain or storms are expected. Just a stray shower or two will be possible tomorrow evening through the early overnight hours, but most spots will remain rain-free.
REST OF THE WEEK
The weak cold front will push off shore Wednesday night and usher in slightly cooler weather for the rest of the week. Temperatures will drop from the upper 70s on Wednesday to the lower to middle 70s Thursday and Friday along with plenty of sunshine.

THIS WEEKEND
Temperatures climb back into the upper 70s by the upcoming weekend, providing for a lovely forecast for any plans. There may be just enough moisture around to squeeze out an isolated shower on Saturday.
