MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Mostly sunny skies and mild temperatures will linger through the weekend.

Another round of sunny skies and mild weather is on tap for Friday. Afternoon temperatures will reach into the lower 70s at the beach and up into the middle 70s inland.

THIS WEEKEND

Temperatures will climb through the weekend at a steady pace. Highs will reach the lower to mid 70s for the Grand Strand while climbing into the upper 70s inland. A few areas will likely hit 80 by Sunday. A slight increase in moisture on Saturday could result in a stray afternoon shower, but most areas will stay dry with rain chances at only 20%.

NEXT WEEK

A steady warming trend arrives next week as an early summer weather pattern develops. Afternoon temperatures will reach the 80 degree mark by Monday and steadily climb into the lower to middle 80s by the middle of next week.
