FIRST ALERT: Work week warm up
MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Mild and dry weather continue through the weekend before a significant warm up arrives next week.
TONIGHT
The weather continues to stay near perfect this evening to grill out. We’ll have mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the 70s. As the sun goes down, temperatures will fall in the upper 50s to low 60s.
TOMORROW
The weather continues to stay pleasant to kickoff the work week. We’ll have mostly sunny skies for Monday morning commute with temperatures in the 60s. We’ll quickly warm up in the 70s and near 80s degrees by Monday afternoon.
WORK WEEK WARM UP
A steady warming trend arrives next week as an early summer weather pattern develops.

The warmest temperatures next week will be across the Pee Dee where lower to middle 80s will be common early in the week followed by middle to upper 80s later in the week. A few spots may hit 90 by late next week.
An onshore wind will keep temperatures a bit cooler near the beaches, but afternoon highs will consistently climb to near 80 each day.
SLIM RAIN CHANCES THIS WEEK
All the while, the same area of high pressure that brings the warm weather will help to deflect any rain-makers from heading our way resulting in very low rain chances this week. Our next chance for rain arrives Wednesday where a weak disturbance may bring a chance for a few stray showers but overall a dry day. Our next real system will arrive for the weekend but models have been inconsistent with the arrival of the cold front.
