FIRST ALERT: Passing showers Wednesday
MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Mild weather continues through the rest of the week with a few passing showers and an isolated thunderstorm possible on Wednesday.
TONIGHT
Moisture will increase across the region tonight with a few showers possible at times. An isolated thunderstorm will be possible, but no severe weather is expected. Temperatures will remain very mild with temperatures dropping into the lower to middle 70s.
WEDNESDAY RAIN CHANCES
A weak upper level disturbance will move through the Carolinas on Wednesday, leading to more clouds and the chance of scattered showers and storms throughout the day. Even with the clouds and a rain chance, temperatures will remain warm with afternoon temperatures in the upper 70s to near 80.
Rain chances through Wednesday will hover around 30 to 40% with only a passing shower or isolated thunderstorm in some areas. Other areas will remain dry.

REST OF THE WEEK
Mostly cloudy skies will turn mostly sunny by Thursday and Friday with temperatures returning to the upper 70s for the beaches and lower 80s inland. A few middle 80s will be likely in the Pee Dee by Friday.
THIS WEEKEND
A weak front will move into the Carolinas this weekend and stall across the region. While widespread rain is not expected, a few showers and storms will be possible at times Saturday and Sunday. Rain chances both days are 30%.
Temperatures will remain warm through the weekend with afternoon temperatures steady in the upper 70s to lower 80s.
