5 arrested during drug bust executed at Florence home

FLORENCE, S.C. (WMBF) - Florence police have arrested nearly half a dozen people and kept more drugs off the streets during a search executed at a home Wednesday afternoon.

Florence Police Department’s Special Investigation Unit and Emergency Response Team executed a search warrant at a home on Waxwing Drive. During the search they were able to seize the following:

320 grams of marijuana
240 grams of cocaine
87 grams of Fentanyl
15 grams of cocaine
50 doses of Clonazepam
Over $6,000 U.S. cash

FPD arrested Tyrus Sansbury, Vanshawn Sowells Jr. Tyshawn Sowells, Eddie Wilson and Marilyn Wilson during the search. All five suspects are charged with trafficking cocaine, trafficking fentanyl and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Sansbury is also charged with trafficking cocaine base and felony in possession of ammunition.

All suspects are being held at the Florence County Detention Center. '
