Former Horry County daycare worker accused of harming children released from jail
HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) – After spending more than a month in jail, a former Horry County daycare worker is out from behind bars.
Jail records show Alexandria Allabaugh posted bond and was released from J. Reuben Long Detention Center at 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
It comes two days after a judge set a $30,000 bond for Allabaugh on Monday.
According to the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office, Allabaugh will have to be on GPS monitoring while she is out on bond and she can’t have contact with children other than her own.

Multiple incident reports and arrest warrants state that she ripped a sleeping mat from underneath sleeping children and, in some cases, threw items like shoes or the sleeping mat at the kids.
She is charged with nine counts of harming children in her care/custody.
